Welcome to 8 Hilton Head Cabana located in Sourth Forest Beach!
This 2 story villa has been updated and is located directly across the street from the beach and only a short walk from tennis, a health club and Coligny Plaza where you will find shopping, dining and entertainment.
The floor plan is an open concept on the first floor, the living, dining and kitchen are open. The living area offers new furnishings, new accessories, a large flat screen tv, a dvd player, a stero and even a work station for your computer. The dining table has seating for six and is open to the fully equipped kitchen. Also located on the first floor is the laundry area and a half bath. There are 2 bedrooms located upstairs that share a hall bath. The bedding consist of a king and 2 double beds, both bedrooms have tvs and are decorated in a beach decor.
Off the living room is a patio that offers seating for 2 and a charcoal grill. The beautiful large complex pool is located in the center of the complex and is fantastic. Parking is in front of the unit, bike paths are located in front of the complex, there are 55 miles of bike paths on the island Of Hilton Head.

The property was clean, tidy, and up to date. The Palmetto management staff were very helpful in getting us settled into this property. The location was great. Close to the ocean and shopping at the Caligny Plaza. The weather was just right for us for this time of year. Not too hot or humid. Great for golfing. But chilly for swimming in the pool, but then we don't swim. The house was well ventilated and we could enjoy the soothing cross wind ventilation from the ocean as there were windows in all the rooms, except for the bathrooms which are fan ventilated.Parking was right out front of our door. Easy access to bring in supplies and groceries. It was quiet in the area, both from a traffic and people noises. The little notes that the owners left for us re: operation of appliances, lights, router, and phone were very helpful. The colour scheme in the house was very easy on the eyes, very soothing. There were no bad odours, such as cigarette smoke, pet or cooking odours to contend with. The lighting was great with dimmers to create atmosphere. The kitchen could have a bit more lighting for cooking and reading cooking instructions. Our suggestion re the operation of the kitchen is that more cooking pots and pans and cooking utensils be made available. We like to eat in more than dine out. The appliances and furniture were up to date. The galley kitchen was easy to use and the furniture was well placed and useable. Loved the king size bed upstairs. If you have trouble negotiating stairs to the second level, this may not be the condo for you. There are no bedrooms on the main floor although the sofa may be a pullout. We never checked. All in all, we had a great time. We took care to treat this property with care, just as if it were our own, just as we would want our own property treated if we were letting it out to others. Thanks to all for a great experience of Hilton Head Island. We hope to return again in the near future.
